Operations Coordinator (part-time)

Nancy is thrilled to be a part of the A.J. Fletcher Foundation as the Operations Coordinator. She provides support for our many events and helps keep the day-to-day operations of the Foundation and 907 Glenwood, our coworking space, running smoothly.

A native North Carolinian and lifelong Tarheel fan, she grew up in the mountains of WNC. She attended Campbell University and obtained a degree in Mass Communication. After graduation, she settled in the Triangle area and worked for a group of five Wake and Johnston County newspapers as a staff writer, associate editor, and editor, receiving awards for design and feature writing from the NC Press Association. Eventually, she traded deadlines for diapers and stepped away to raise her growing family full-time. She rejoined the outside working world as a business administrator at Raleigh legal tech start-up Blue Pencil Box, before landing at AJF. 

In her spare time, Nancy enjoys reading, playing the violin, thrifting, and spending time with her family. She is also a big fan of musicals and naps.
