President

Mrs. Goodmon serves as the President of the A.J. Fletcher Foundation. She graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Memphis, TN in 1965. She is a 1994 graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh and the master of liberal studies program at North Carolina State University in 2000.

She has served on a number of community boards in NC. With primary interests in the field of human services, she has served as Chairwoman of the Salvation Army, Vice Chairwoman of The Healing Place of Wake County, and Chairman of Wake County Human Services. She has received the William Booth Award from the Salvation Army and was inducted into the Academy of Women of the Raleigh YWCA.

She served as Executive Director of the A.J. Fletcher Foundation from 2004-2012.
