In her role, Lindsay deepens Fletcher Foundation’s knowledge of complex issues facing education in North Carolina, particularly as it relates to charter schools, school choice, educational equity, school funding, students with disabilities, and innovation. She directly supports the organization’s grantees by providing research, analysis, and reporting on issues pertaining to education in North Carolina.
Prior to joining Fletcher Foundation, Lindsay worked as an education reporter for N.C. Policy Watch, reporting on policies and legislation affecting education in North Carolina. She has also held positions at the American Federation of Teachers, the Institute of International Education, the National Education Association, and The Brookings Institution. Lindsay holds a masters degree in international education policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
