We are joined this week by Jennifer Tisdale, the Project Coordinator of Project CATCH (Community Action Targeting Children who are Homeless) through the Wake County Salvation Army. Project CATCH is the only organization in Wake County designed to identify and provide services for homeless children, serving up to 350 each year. Jennifer discusses how the difficulties of finding affordable housing and childcare for low-income parents can cause children to fall through the cracks, and how her childhood in the Middle East helped inform her decision to dedicate her career to passionate work for good.
