We tried to take this idea to heart as we joined several of our community partners for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. MLK Day, and every day, is a time to work in partnership with communities and to commit ourselves to the principles of justice that MLK advocated for.

On Monday, we partnered with YMCA of the Triangle to make meals for Urban Ministries of Wake County, and then joined Book Harvest for their annual Dream Big Book Drive, where we had a great time sorting books and reminiscing on our childhood favorites. 

We are proud to support these organizations’ work and happy that we were able to spend the day with them on Monday to honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s commitment to service, anti-poverty work, and social justice.
